I am going to talk about the differences between fruit machine hire and fruit machine profit sharing.

Fruit machine hire

Hiring a fruit machine means you have to pay a fixed weekly, fornightly or monthy charge. The amound depends on a few factors but mainly the fruit machines age. When you rent you get 100% of the profit *but* you are responsible for the float and ensuring it is kept topped up. You are also responsible for paying 100% of the license fee for the fruit machine.

Fruit machine profit share

A fruit machine on a profit share such as 50 / 50 has its benefits. The major one being you dont pay any rent, but the main downside is that you get a share (usally 50%) of the profits rather than all the profits. However you dont have to provide any float for the machine and you only pay a share of the license, usally 50%.
